The ISA's Vocational School is located in the stunning Norwegian countryside. Alongside our Academy is a beautiful lake, forest walks and breath-taking views. Our venue is available all year round for filming, photography, events, teambuilding activities and conferences. We can also provide or arrange a huge variety of walks, hikes and indoor / outdoor activities. Talk to us about your ideas or if you want some suggestions. And yes, we can also be a very interesting venue for alternative weddings!
The Academy itself is designed around Stunt Performance, Training and conditioning, dedicated to the perfection of Stunts and Action Acting.
The Academy functions as a residential educational and production facility, so it is perfect for events, activities and team building.
Onsite we have an accommodation block with 30 single rooms, each with a small en-suite toilet & shower plus shared lounges and self-catering kitchens. There are also options for hotels and cabins nearby if you wish to upgrade your stay or house large groups.
All our rooms, spaces and facilities are available for hire / rental by the day. We’re even open for those seeking cool and alternative weddings.
Within the main building our facilities include: Group work rooms, A huge Dojo with high ceiling which lso hosts gymnastics and trampolining, a Martial Arts dojo, an indoor shooting / archery range and a number of classrooms from small to large.
Workspace • Workshop • Meetingrooms • Kitchen and lounge • Mac Park’ with the latest from Apple, Adobe Creative Suite and a range of other high end Film / Audio editing kit and capabilities • Sound studio for VO and Podcast recording • The Cinema is our in-house screening room featuring large screen, surround sound and raked reclining cinema seats • Multiple gyms and fitness rooms with the latest equipment, free weights and everything people need to train • Massage room featuring full body massage chairs – perfect after a hard day / week in our training facilities! • Our garden spaces can hold large groups for events and activities and feature cabins, firepits, an Assault Course & Zipline plus a large BBQ Grill area.
There is also a forest area, trail and woodland shooting course plus a river running along our border from the stunning lake which is just 200m away from our doors.
Also included within our grounds: • Dedicated guest parking onsite for up to 30 cars (more can be arranged) • The Jump Zone features a range of High Fall towers from 1 to 10 metres and a wirework area, all used for • Stunt training purposes and film work • The Flight Zone (new for 2023) has dedicated outdoor ranges for Axe Throwing, Knife Throwing and Archery (1 day experiences and weekend courses are available) • Shooting range, Lane 25 meter • Costyme department • SFX and workshop • Wardrobes, showers +++
